Projection Screens

Our portable projection screens are the choice of audio visual professionals worldwide.  Whatever the application -
concerts, partys, trade shows, traveling events, off-site meetings, in-house facilities, corporate functions.
Frames are constructed of sturdy, lightweight 1" anodized aluminum with durable steel hinges and locks

Larger format screens feature heavy-duty 6" truss construction for enhanced stability.  Frames and legs
are constructed of parallel 1" square aluminum tubing; arc welded to produce a 6" wide truss.
Screens which require extra rigidity feature extra 6" truss support.

We supply for hire 'EZ-fold' projection screen in the following range of 4:3 sizes:
other formats such as 16:9 & 1:1 are available on request

8 x 6, 10 x 7.5, 12 x 9, 14 x 10.5, 16 x 12, 20 x 15, 24 x 18 & 35 foot

Daylight LED screens
technical spec

clearer pictures of higher resolution are created using Dynamic Colour Matrix technology.
brighter State of the art video processing brings smoother, clearer and sharper, flicker-free picture action.
sharper Low-Light Enhancement technology removes contouring, shimmering and sparkle.
smoother Ten years of experience in LED technology has led to our development of a unique LED mounting system ensuring longer effective operational life and higher reliability.
higher Pixel levelling reduces graininess and produces a smoother and clearer picture.
wider Non-reflective secondary lenses create wider viewing angles.
longer Rigorous testing on the road and in our laboratory ensures our digital daylight displays are continually of high, robust quality and fully compliant with EMC and similar world-wide regulations.

Dynamic Colour Matrix (DCM) gives a higher-than-normal picture resolution by the creation of virtual pixels within the video image. Each pixel forms a DCM matrix in which each colour element within the pixel is driven by separate luminance information
Unique Low-light Enhancement (LLE) increases the colour dynamic range in dark or low-light picture areas to 268 million million colours (48 bits) removing contouring and sparkly shimmering seen in most other LED screens
Highest Quality Components are used throughout the DCM display including the very latest red, pure-green and high-brightness blue LED©ˆs
Robust & Rugged Outdoor Design tested to the extremes throughout Europe in fixed installations and by our affiliate Big Screen Rental Group.
Weatherproof modules, integral horizontal sun shades and high-brightness pixels ensure superb performance
Custom Lenses achieve a wide viewing angle, optimise the chromaticity throughout the viewing cone and minimise reflected light
Pixel Levelling reduces graininess and produces a smoother picture overall through the ability to adjust the relative brightness of individual LED©ˆs over 256 levels. Sophisticated feedback diagnostics compensate for brightness differences in the initial screen LED©ˆs, changes in the LED©ˆs over time and replacement LED©ˆs
Colour Correction ensures that both PAL and NTSC colours are faithfully reproduced by compensating for differences between LED and CRT colour triangles
Colour & Brightness Balancing Control maintains an overall balanced screen at all times through the ability to blend modules of different ages
Longer Operational Life is achieved by avoiding potting LED©ˆs in resin and enabling optimum cooling of the LED©ˆs. Our 10 years experience of operating screens in hostile environments, some continuously running for over 5 years, has enabled us to create a long lasting world leading design
Automatic Parameter Control enables simple unattended operation by setting brightness, contrast, colour saturation, colour temperature and other parameters in relation to ambient light conditions. Preferred profile configurations may be stored to quickly recall settings for particular screens, locations and weather conditions
True Gamma Correction with adjustable gamma exponent creates true linear brightness retaining all picture definition. Video screens without this feature for example lose vital detail on faces around the eyes
Sophisticated Scaling retains picture detail across varying size screens. With less advanced scalers line aliasing and blurring can occur particularly in video pictures with fine patterns
High Contrast Ratios result from the black background enabling DCM to outperform competing CRT products in direct sunlight
Rear Access Maintenance for all parts including LED clusters. A modular mounting system is available where rear access to the screen is not possible
Fibre Optics provide reliable state-of-the-art technology for data distribution
Stadia Preferred Ideal in these and other outdoor installations
Custom Graphical User Interface For Screen Control provides a simple and familiar user interface which enables adjustment of all screen parameters and configurations together with remote control and diagnostics over a network

With more screens in our fleet including PictureBox and modular systems from 10-50 sq m.
